I forgot to take my headphones into work. I wanted to listen to my music on my headphones because I knew I was going to be on a task where music headphones are allowed.

I hate how my family just does stuff and never bothers to tell me anything, like they expect I'll just know somehow. One of them brings home the mail and doesn't say anything, just leaves anything with my name on it somewhere I don't spend much time instead of giving it to me directly or at least leaving it somewhere I'll definitely find it. I mention that we're out of a cleaning supply and it's the same thing. They bring it home and just leave it somewhere I don't spend time without a single word instead of putting it where it actually belongs. I don't get informed about plans or reschedulings until the last minute, if at all, but even when they don't inform me they get upset if I'm not ready to leave on time. And they get upset if I'm not ready early (if I know when something is happening I plan so that I'm on time) if they spontaneously decide to get home or do something early instead of the time provided. And they act like it's always my fault.

My coworker's radio. Ugh, does my head in. The same tinned-sounding noise that comes from her pocket every single day, turned up loud, and is such a distraction. I wish she'd just listen to it on the days where she isn't working with me, but I don't have the heart to tell her.

I had to upgrade my computer three times today, and it's still lagging. My firefox browser crashed and then when I tried to post a reply on facebook the computer froze up again and that was after I upgraded it the third time.

My computer is just a mess lately. Maybe it needs to be replaced? :(

I've been waiting for my pea green rain hat to arrive from Amazon for nearly 2 hours.

I just read that the convenience store that's on the same street where I live just got robbed by some guy with a knife. I don't think anyone was hurt, but the thief got away.

This is why I always feel uncomfortable when I go into a convenience store. The cashiers and innocent shoppers are all just sitting ducks for whatever sick person comes in through the door. And it's all because there's so much poverty where I live, which the government does nothing to help. But they always have money for war.

The world is a complete cesspool.

Upgrade or update? Upgrade implies that you got better components (or software) whereas updating just implies that you got a newer version of software or components. The two aren't always synonymous. Either way, if your computer is lagging there could be a number of reasons for that. For hardware concerns - If you updated from Windows 10 to 11 you may just need more ram. If your hard drive or ssd is on the older side or sees alot of use it might need replacing so you might want to run a health check on it. If you haven't cleaned the computer lately it might just need to be opened and cleaned as well. Dust can build up that causes problems with ventilation which can cause the computer to get too hot and start having performance issues. For software concerns - Make sure your drivers are up to date and you don't have too much nonsense running in the background. Try a scan disk and defrag. Also, run a full scan of your machine with your antivirus. Because such things can also result in the sorts of problems you're describing.
