I tried to read a lot more today compared to yesterday. I only succeeded in reading about thirty percent more. I am talking about a novel that I have just started reading for the second time.

Oh. And my mom is not happy about me not eating enough meals.

Both of these missteps are on me. I wish I would stop doing this. I don't hate myself (I think). I don't self harm. I am a bookworm. I am not anorexic.

I just cannot be arsed into doing either of these things; they were supposed to feel like periods of rest / recreation. Now? Now they feel like tasks to be done, which makes the task completion percentage even lower, and my mood correspondingly worse.

I am not sure what is happening. I don't think I used to be like this. But recall of events long gone are notoriously inaccurate. A straight answer to what is happening to me would be great.

For now, however, I will strive to achieve my goals as far as I am able. I will not give up on this pursuit.

I shall cease, when this warm scribe, my hand, is in the grave.

When I was walking into a Heritage Meats, there was a window washer who saw my reflection in the shiny window. He said that he hopes this is the Year of the Pig and than he finished off his sentence with a comment about Germans and their size. When I walked out the store I looked around the corner and saw that he was still there. I said out loud, "I also hope this is The year of the Pig, because some people have no concept of personal space."
