My friend who I was helping out called because his debit/credit card still was not working. I went to the bank, because I gave him enough to get by today. Yes, his card still is not working (blocked) because I had the same problems the last time I helped him, four days ago. I told him then that he needed to get the thing resolved. He said it was not a problem anymore, and the evidence suggests it is. I also asked the clerk about it, understanding I have not right for private information. There is an issue. I asked if it could get resolved today. She said no, it would take two, possibly three days to resolve once he goes to the bank to get it resolved. I told him this. He said there is no one to talk to, but I know he has been relying on the phone. I suggest he needed to physically go to the bank. This issue stands in the way of him making any progress. I cannot possibly keep financially helping him out.

I'm at a public library right now and I'm going to put on headphones.

Hearing kids getting fussy is so annoying.

I saw a Facebook post that showed the names for various things in British English and "US" English, and somebody posted trashing the "US" English saying it's corrupt and evil because Trump, and I posted for the billionth time that in Canada we use most of the same words as the US does. Not that they care.

Maybe Canada has been corrupted and horribly influenced by the US, and we should start using the British words for everyday things as way of boycotting them even more. Maybe we should spell tires with a Y. Maybe we should call a shopping cart a trolley. Maybe we should call an elevator a lift. Maybe we should start driving on the opposite side of the road!! Bubbles and squeak!! Bangers and mash!! Ha ha ha I'm going crazy. :D :D :D
