I have this problem often, especially in the word association game thread (word association can be a challenge for a person who doesn't always think in words! ). For example:


A: I haven't got one. I become easily and equally fascinated by almost any academic subject. Favorites have been but are not limited to: Linguistics, geography (physical and human), anthropology (linguistic and cultural), physics (theoretical), history, ichthyology, teuthology, etc.

Q: What period of history (and in what place) do you find the most interesting?

That is a lot of logos.

I wish I was more informed historian, but I will say 1915-1925 era. Modern warfare began, the last great pandemic, the free wheeling days right before the stock market crash hurdling everything into a great depression and of course that is when Einstein and many of the other greats did their most creative works.

If I gave you a bag of money and told you to go do something important with it, what would you do?

I'd give it to UNICEF. Anything I'd spend it on would definitely not be important.

Precisely the opposite - I'd spend it on something unimportant. It's what I do with money...

If you could have one super-power, what would it be and why?

The Roman Empire, back in the 2nd century AD. I'd stop the persecutions that the other emperors were doing, teach the Romans of that era modern science and give them electricity, automobiles, gunpowder, rocketry, and basically ensure that they were capable of conquering the rest of the world and terraforming Mars.

I'm sure you meant super-power as in magical abilities of super heroes, so I'd choose time travel.

A- Assuming this question is to answer with a place that isn't in my natural habitat (My home)... Every Monday you could maybe find me at my psychologist's office . Alternatively I may be at an electronics/game store .

Q- Who do you think will win WWIII... the Panda bears and every other force of nature or humanity... and why?

You'd most likely run into me at the library. There are 3 within 2 miles of where I live. With free books, movies, cds, and internet the library is probably the greatest invention ever.

the meek shall inherit the earth. the cockroaches and other indestructible creepy-crawlies and little bugs/germs/viruses and other nasty little hummers beneath the human radar, will "win" by default.

Q- how will world war IV be fought?

Nuclear submarines will be shrunk to the size of nanoparticles and they will be injected intravenously to fight World War IV.

It would be the first cockroach-on-cockroach war.

Worst TV show was Saved by the Bell, and WW IV will be a low budget sequel fought by scantily clad nymphs against computer geeks, the horror.

Say you could make carbon copy clones of yourself, would you get annoyed with yourself or try taking over the world or get jealous of yourself or something else?

Each of us would have an equal vote, but I think the decision would be unanimous: we'd conquer the universe.
