I don't enter things that aren't free to enter, but I have won some free competitions though. I haven't been comping for a while. I go through phases of giving it up, because it takes so many entries to actually win anything. My win rate is mega low. I only won a few times a year.

(Comping = sourcing all the free-to-enter comps online, and entering hundreds every day).

In the past, all_white has won:

<edit: OK, maybe I'd better delete all that, because it looks like boasting, but it isn't. There's no merit in winning stuff. I was just a bit obsessed with comping for a while. I think it was one of my special interests. >

When I write it all down like that, it seems like it's worth going back to it, to see if I'll win any more. But it gets annoying and boring when you keep doing it and don't win anything any more.

Anyone want my leather jacket? I still don't wear it.

O: and that's bad?

Yes, because those things might have looked like a lot, but it was very much spread out over a long period of time, during which you have to enter literally thousands of comps before you ever win anything again.

I'm a bit sick of it now.

Well, if things were slightly different a few generations ago, I'd have been a Scot 8O

It is when the die-hard people on the comping forum do it.

They even list all the stuff they've won in their siggies. 8O

Blitzreug is a sea gull, I see.

I hope s/he isn't going to poop on my head.

:(

Edit: OK, I totally misspelled your username.

It's late. I'm in bed. I'm on an iPhone. Sorry.

I mean like the one in Largs.

Sea gull poo, not Aspie poo. ;)

Weird fact: apparently the white stuff in bird poo isn't poo at all. It's pee. The black bits are the poo. Is that true?

Birds must drink a lot of sludgy water... and eat a lot of chalk!

Still, thanks for the image, a_w!

I've been fairly lucky with the birds, y'know. I was attacked by seagulls on Thursday though, I put a picture in the photo thread.
