Having completed my week's penance, I got on the tram this morning and visited Morrisons in Rochdale and Sainsburys in Oldham. Here's my haul:

Image

1 500ml bottle of Wychwood King Goblin

1 500ml bottle of Sainsburys London Porter

2 440ml cans of Vocation 'Death By Cherries'

3 330ml cans of Thornbridge 'Cocoa Wonderland'

1 440ml can of Vocation 'Sweet Temptation' Chocolate Caramel Stout

Total cost £16.45

I'll spread these out over today and Sunday.

Well you enjoy it my friend. You deserve it.

Irn Bru always sorts me out when I've got a hangover. I wonder if it's the quinine.

Only had a Peroni and 2 Jamesons last night but I feel particularly seedy this morning.

Had 8 cans of Magners yesterday and 8 today. It's nice tasting cider and doesn't give me a hangover.

8 a day is overdoing it somewhat from the units point of view though (16 units alcohol).

But may as well be done for a sheep as a lamb, or whatever the saying is.

That might be the problem if you're mixing the two. I can't drink most lagers (esprcially Stella) and avoid wine and spirits as they make me ill.

Well if I have one pint of lager I get the same hangover as if I've had 5 pints of lager and 5 glasses of wine. It makes no difference.

It doesn't really bother me because I know I'll be OK tomorrow.

I love drinking red wine me.

Had to many beers with friends last night and downed my beers fast. Probably my anxiety made me do it again :(
