Gorgeous blooms, Noca. Outstanding!
I got a blazing star too but it hasn't bloomed yet, should soon though.
I'd love to see a photo! We have wild native blazing star here, but the habitat it likes is also coveted by orange groves and developers. I can only find it in unmowed roadsides and narrow stretches of unmowed railway rights of way.
Amity, I feel your pain. When I lived in town, I came home to find the landscaper spraying Round Up on my herb garden. I have no idea why people want shrubs trimmed into artificial shapes. This is very popular in Florida. Drives me nuts. I am so sorry for your loss! All those flowers!! !!
My Angie mango is almost through, Maha Chinook is still going strong, Carrie and Pickering are just barely getting started. I had a delicious Pickering the other day. It has the flavor of coconut overlaying the mango flavor.
Here is another bromeliad, I can't remember the name, but the hummingbirds love it.

My pineapples are beginning to ripen. Here is the first below. Not all pineapples taste the same. This one was juicy, sweet and low acid. It was heavenly.

Florida Survivor plants are doing well, but I am keeping them on the window sill, perhaps until September when in theory it gets a bit less hot.
I have a Black Krim doing amazingly well.
There are other things that aren't doing so well, but I try not to focus on them.
