i ventured into my girlfriends house which was accessible only by ladder. in the real world, i have only been there once.

i went in there with few articles of clothing to retrieve something and i was pinned down by an enormous dog, a golden retriever. i barely escaped wit the thing i was getting, the rest i do not recall.

i told her about it the next day and apparently she did use to have a golden retriever. "magie".

^^^
Golden Retriever
To see a golden retriever in your dream represents your family ideals. The dream may also be a pun on something that you need to "retrieve" or regain control of.
Dog
To see a dog in your dream symbolizes intuition, loyalty, generosity, protection, and fidelity. The dream suggests that your strong values and good intentions will enable you to go forward in the world and bring you success. The dream dog may also represent someone in your life who exhibits these qualities. Alternatively, to see a dog in your dream indicates a skill that you may have ignored or forgotten. If the dog attacks you, then it indicates some inner conflict within yourself. It may also indicate betrayal and untrustworthiness.
Ladder
To dream that you are climbing up a ladder suggests that you have reached a new level of achievement. Alternatively, it indicates meditation and prayer. You are setting forth on a spiritual path and higher awareness. The dream may also highlight how you are looking things from a different perspective. But if you are climbing down a ladder, then it suggests that you are escaping from your spiritual responsibilities. It is an indication of future disappointments.

Why do I keep having recurring dreams where I'm either moving to a new place or helping someone else move? I've lived in the same house for ten years now and can't figure this one out, and a version of this happened again last nite.

Moving
To dream that you or someone is moving in or out of a place signifies your desire or need for change. It may also mean an end to a situation or relationship; you are moving on. Alternatively, it indicates your determination and issues regarding dependence/independence. To dream that you are helping someone move indicates that you are afraid of change. You are not quite ready to confront some new situation by yourself. Alternatively, to help someone move implies acceptance of some new change, even though you may not agree with it. To see movers in your dream implies that it is time for your to move on from a situation. You need to learn to let go and look toward what is ahead for you

I had a dream that the small, scaly patch of skin on my back started growing and I could feel it bubbling and spreading out over my shoulders and climbing up my neck.
I ran to look in the mirror in the bathroom and it had reached the skin on my face and was starting to turn into something resembling lizard skin. It was cracked and greyish-green and it started flaking off in great chunks and falling into the washbasin.

To see a lizard or lizard skin in your dream signifies your primal instincts and reactions toward sex, food, etc. and your anxieties toward these feelings. The lizard quality may also be representative of a person who you view as cold-blooded, fearful, or thick-skinned. On a more positive note, the lizard also symbolizes emerging creativity, renewal, and revitalization. It may suggest your aims to become more well-grounded. To dream of your skin represents protection or shield of your inner self. It serves as a physical boundary and how close you let others get to you. Alternatively, your skin indicates that you are being too superficial or shallow or that you are vulnerable. To dream that your skin is covered with rashes or other skin deformities signifies your fear of facing a harsh reality. You are afraid of making a wrong impression. The dream may also be a pun that you are making a rash decision. Dreaming that your skin is thickening as a lizard's skin seems to suggest you need to develop a thicker skin in terms of your resilience in the face of harsh realities. Alternately, to dream that your skin is different suggests that you are not being true to yourself. If your new skin is darker than your true skin, then it may mean that you are trying to hide or blend into the background. If it is lighter than your true skin, then it symbolizes fear. Alternatively, it may be a sign of sickness. Perhaps a call to the doctor is in order.

I tried to answer your post by quote from yesterday but the CAPTCHA kept blocking me.

Sometimes I also have dreams that I need to catch the bus but I keep missing it or I get off at the wrong stop.

I was dreaming that my ex-GF kept calling me, but I never called her back mainly because my family wanted to know who she was and why she was calling me repeatedly.

I had a dream last night in which I was Kouichi [bearing of the Spirits of Darkness] from Digimon and I was sick or something [I kept fainting or something like that] and Kouji [Kouichi's twin brother and bearer of the Spirits of Light] was taking care of me/Kouichi. One of the minor characters was carrying around a copy of The Secret Garden. The weirdest part is that I wasn't thinking about Digimon or The Secret Garden at all beforehand. Any ideas, guys?

Tonight I had what I would describe as a nightmare.

There was a first part, which I don't remember too well, where I ran around in some kind of mall and kept making appointments I knew I wouldn't be able to keep. For example, a doctor's appointment and then I just didn't go to it. But then, the main part:

I was in the office building of a group of twitch streamers I like (they are semi-popular here in the gamer scene and I have met two of them personally). With me was a large group of other people. Suddenly the situation kind of escalated. The people became agressive and attacked the streamers. They all were killed. I blamed myself for this, because earlier I had not taken the situation seriously or something. I was terribly sad because they were all gone, and I felt so guilty. We cleaned up the building (there were no bodies, just general chaos) and the entire time I thought about how I was responsible for their deaths.

It was a really sad dream, strangely towards the end I was thinking 'good thing I wake up soon and then I'll find out it wasn't real'. As if I knew I was dreaming but also not really.
