^^^Vote
To dream that you are casting a vote signifies your desire to belong to a larger group or to develop an aspect of your character on a more public level. You or someone is looking for support, approval and acceptance. The dream may also mean that you are speaking your mind and letting your voice be heard. You are demanding a say in how you should live your own life.
Classroom
To dream that you are in a classroom indicates that you are learning an important life lesson. Alternatively, it symbolizes personal growth. You are learning something about yourself. I also get the vibe that you are hiding something from your mother and are not sure you can keep it a secret for long.

I dreamt I was visiting someone in hospital.
I put my bag down on the floor near the bed.
When I went to go, my bag was gone.
I searched around and found it under a neighbouring patient's bed, with all it's contents tipped out.
My wallet was open and all the money and my bankcard was gone.
I asked the old lady in the hospital bed if she saw who had taken them.
She said it was her son.
The rest of the dream devolved into an escalating panic as I tried unsuccessfully to report my stolen bankcard, call police etc.

Robbery
To dream that you have been robbed indicates that you are experiencing an identity crisis or are suffering from some sort of loss in your life. Alternatively, the dream means that someone has stolen your success or has taken credit for something you did. Perhaps you feel that you have been treated unfairly.

Everything takes so long.

I had a dream where I was being driven around a neighbourhood full of grey houses but green gardens. The people in the car with me looked kind of like negative teenagers. Then they got out, and so did I, and ran around in people's gardens for no reason. I lost my bag, which contained my memory stick for my book, and my notebook, and a special present that I have yet to send to someone I love, in someone's garden. When the teenagers found the car again, it was clear that I was supposed to follow them, but I ran back to the gardens without looking back. There was a black and white cat guarding my bag for me.
What's it all about? :?

Cat
To see a cat in your dream symbolizes an independent spirit, feminine sexuality, creativity, and power. It also represents misfortune and bad luck. The dream symbol has different significance depending on whether you are a cat lover or not. To see a black cat in your dream indicates that you are experiencing some fear in using your psychic abilities and believing in your intuition. You may erroneously associate the black cat with evil, destruction, and bad luck. If you see a white cat, then it may denote difficult times.
Car
To dream that you are driving a car denotes your ambition, your drive and your ability to navigate from one stage of your life to another. Consider how smooth or rough the car ride is. If you are the passenger, then you are taking a passive role. If you are in the backseat of the car, then it indicates that you are putting yourself down and are allowing others to take over. This may be a result of low self-esteem or low self-confidence. Overall, this dream symbol is an indication of your dependence and degree of control you have on your life.
Teenager
If you are beyond your adolescence and you dream that you are with teenagers, then the dream suggests that you are acting immaturely. An aspect of yourself may still need some developing in order to achieve fulfillment.
Garden
To see a vegetable or fruit garden in your dream indicates that your hard work and diligence will pay off in the end. It is also symbolic of stability, potential, and inner growth. You need to cultivate a new skill or nurture your spiritual and personal growth. To see a flower garden in your dream represents tranquility, comfort, love and domestic bliss. You need to be more nurturing. To see a sparse, weed-infested garden suggests that you have neglected your spiritual needs. You are not on top of things. Dreaming of a tropical garden implies that you are seeking warmth and comfort. The fact that you lost [in the garden] your bag containing your memories/gifts benefitting others seems to mean you are trying for an upgrade in your gifts/abilities, or are rethinking things in your life.
The overall theme of your dream is one of maturation.

Is it weird to dream that you're a fictional character who's the opposite gender of you, like Harry Potter?

Well I might have been a female version in the dream. Harriet Potter, heh heh.

Last night my dreams were all of me knitting -- but I'm not surprised, as I've just started dabbling in knitting and was knitting before I went to sleep last night.

I saw knitting needles and yarn all night in my head!

^^^^^Thanks, auntblabby! :)
I had another weird dream last night. I was on a starship or something Star Trek like, and there was some sort of anomaly so that I kept meeting the same guy multiple times; it was like there were copies of him all over the place. Then I dreamed about a mysterious library-bookstore type place with an ominous yet not threatening enchantress-like lady inside. I think I jumped into some books, but I'm not sure.
