I dreamt a whopper of a nightmare, I was with an alternate version of my family, only my mom was "real" - a trio of thugs came at us and me, I grabbed a kitchen knife to defend myself, my mom said "NO!" and they came after her and killed her with their own knives, and I stabbed them to death after beating them up. afterwards, I rolled my mom's corpse up in a blanket and tried to sop up the blood on the floor from the 3 dead people. then my mom came back to life only she was butchered and carved up and proceeded to beat me up. then I awoke. ![]()
I had one last night that was very odd, to say the least.
Well, I (or actually, a younger version of me) was at a pool, nothing out of the ordinary there. Accept I was nude! Luckily I was in the water, so no one could see my nakedness. It was only a few feet from the edge of the pool to the restrooms, I thought that if I could make a dash for those I would be safe. I moved closer to the edge of the pool, I looked around to make sure no one was looking this way, then I pulled myself up out of the pool and made a run for the doors. I reached the door to the restrooms and tryed to pull it open, but I was not strong enough, and I felt every eye at the pool look at me. "That boys not wearing any clothes!" I heard someone shout. (Weird because people don't usually talk in my dreams) I could feel myself blush as I tried harder and harder to get the door open. Finally after what seemed like an eternity of embarrassment and a sea of laughs, I opened the door. And here's where things started to get strange.
The door opened into what I can only call a meadow, with knee high grass and trees off in the distance. I looked around, and noticed that the door I had just come through was gone! I was still nude, but at least I could relax, after all, there was no one around to see me.
The grass was covered in dew and the ground was warm against my feet. There was a slight breeze, I didn't recognize this place. Then I heard someone call my name, it was faint, as if the speaker was very far off in the distance. I headed off in the direction of the voice, or at least where I though I heard the voice coming from. I know this might seem strange, but even though I was in some who-knows-where place, and nude as well, I never felt scared. I'd almost say I was happy. For the first time in who knows how long, I wasn't feeling stressed out, or worried, or annoyed or any such emotion. I hadn't felt this way since I was, well, a child. Appropriate considering that that's what I was in my dream. Now, where was I? Ah yes. I was running to the voice, it sounded so soft and caring, I had to meet that person, but as I approached the trees at the end of the meadow, I saw that there was no light between the trees, only pure darkness. I halted and backed slightly away. I heard the voice calling me again, this time I knew it was just beyond the trees, but I could not bring myself to enter those terrifying woods. I felt conflicted, I wanted so bad to meet the voice, but I couldn't go into that darkness. I fell down onto the grass and curled up, and started to cry. "I'm sorry!" I said.

^^^that sounds like a heaven dream to me. the other side of the meadow was where the departed live. it was not your time. you sought escape from a harsh world where eyes were staring holes in you and when you left the comfort of the pool you were vulnerable and you sought an escape from the feeling of being trapped in an untenable situation.
Swimming Pool
To see a swimming pool in your dream symbolizes relaxation, calmness, luxury and ease. You need to take a break. Alternatively, a swimming pool suggests that you need to acknowledge and understand your feelings. It is time to dive in and deal with those emotions. You need to cleanse yourself and wash away past hurts. Consider the depth of the pool. If you were swimming on the deep end, then it means that those emotions are deeply seated and may be harder to confront.. You will need to work through it, no more matter how difficult. If you are swimming on the shallow end, then it implies that you should be able to easily deal with your feelings.
Naked
To dream that you are naked denotes fear of being found out and exposed over your activities. You feel that you are being misjudged. To dream that you suddenly discover your nudity and are trying to cover up signifies your vulnerability to a situation.
Meadow
To see a meadow in your dream represents openness and security. You are taking time out to appreciate your accomplishments.
Trees
To see lush green trees in your dream symbolize new hopes, growth, desires, knowledge, and life. It also implies strength, protection and stability. You are concentrating on your own self-development and individuation.
Darkness
To dream that darkness comes upon you signifies failure in some work that you are attempting. Darkness is synonymous with ignorance, the subconscious, evil, death, and fear of the unknown.

I woke up from a beautiful and depressing dream. I was in space, looking at the moon while sitting on my bed.
"Wait until you see the sun," the narrator in my head said. "It's beautiful."
I stared at the sun, amazed and wondering if its rays would harm me. I exclaimed with my hands raised above me."God, your creation is beautiful!"
Then, an alien on a ship flew by and blasted the sun. It was destroyed, gone. I came back to Earth, landing in someone's backyard. There were children that were upset, saying "We're going to die." One child suggested to watch TV to pass the time, but I wondered they could with this crisis. It was supposed to be warm, but I started to feel a chill in the air. Even though the sun was gone, it was still daylight. Two of the children who realized our doom was in a kiddie pool and there was a waterfall pool thing nearby. I imagined it all being frozen eventually, including humans. I woke up feeling sad.
I hate dreams like this.

Yup, got to stay away from malwear.
You know, I almost never have scary dreams. I have very strange and sometimes unsettling dreams, but few that could be considered scary.
