Back from my shower - very disappointed nobody wanted to participate, my shower was terribly lonely without any conical buddies

I'm generally Ok and usually manage a couple of years without catching anything, but my luck may have just run out.
It doesn't matter what time of year it is, people always say "Oh well, there's a lot of it about at the moment" when I get a cold. That's either remarkably bad and consistent timing on my part or they're talking poo.
