I'm trying to learn how to cook, but I lack the persistence. :P There was this one time where I made a lemon meringue pie mostly by myself. It wasn't a work of art, but it was yummy enough.

I have always been truly abysmal at cooking!

Some of these are hard to mess up. I can cook following the recipes, but the minute I deter, chaos ensues. Take (for instance) zucchini:

*chop it up
*put it in a bag
*pour some olive oil in
*sprinkle on garlic salt
*put on spayed sheets of foil on the grill
*watch until they get brown and take them off

Pretty hard to mess up.

I'd say that would be too easy to mess up
Anything practical, I just totally fail :P

How would you mess it up?
-If you chop it up too small or too big it'll just take different times
-I'm pretty sure you know how to put stuff in a bag
-If you put too much olive oil then the grill will soak it up kinda, and too little will be noticeable
-If you put too much garlic salt, then grill it for longer, too little, then add more at any time
-You can spray the sheets....
-And brown on the grill is your choice.....if it isn't brown enough, then wait longer, if it is too brown, then just hope it isn't black and make sure to watch it carefully

Pretty much foolproof. :P

With cooking, it just takes some practice and plenty of failures. Eventually you figure out the little stuff like timing, how hot to set the burner or how much charcoal to put in the grill.

Timing= when it becomes brown
Burner= medium is always a friend
Charcoal = there is already some in the grill
