My father cannot cook. Another full week with eating here and I'm honestly afraid of turning bulimic. (I cannot, and will not - for sensitive peoples sake, describe how foul the food is)
Dear whovian-vinnie, PLEASE tell us about the food!
Please?

Fine, if you insist. (It might not sound terribly gross, but to someone who's used to homemade, proper food, it's pretty terrible)
Dinner today. (Served at 10 pm, mind you). Precooked chicken wings, oven-thawed in a soup of either fat, water or both, served with soggy fries. Side? Ketchup. But we were low on that, so not so much. Almost threw up afterwards (mind you, I've never had an ED and only ever throw up if really sick or incredibly drunk), would have taken a glass of milk to calm my stomach - but we only have the one my sister can drink. Only two colours, dusty-grey chicken with burnt edges, pale-potato-yellow fries with same burnt edges. (he can make burnt and soggy at the same time, almost impressive. Almost.)
Dinner yesterday. Jacket potato. With homemade garlic butter (made with margarine and too much garlic).
That's it. Not even two colours, three is my minimum for considering it a meal.
Before that. Crispy dry pork chops (not supposed to be, either), served with the fat from the pork chops as sauce and some boiled-to-death-potatoes. Too fatty, too dry and no veggies. Eat half a portion, blame it on a big lunch and nurse a cola untill the nausea passes.
That's just to mention a few. I am big on food, I make lunch and dinner from scratch (or my boyfriend does, depending on the meal), I am very strict on number of colours and textures and balance in my food. I don't eat potatoes at all when I'm at home, mainly because of negative intonations from home.
Prize example: Chicken salad. A few very large, barely torn leaves of iceberg lettuce, tomatoes chopped in half, cold, greasy, chunky chicken bits and mayonaisse to taste.
Any and all examples from above make me feel worse just thinking about them, so I'm making myself some green tea.
