 I should know, I tried that.

Come to think of it, is there anything that cannot be an excess? Altruism to excess will lead to harm to oneself. Sleeping to an excess is lazy. The sun to an excess causes DNA damage and burns.

I'm sorry about your rat, I Googled them, she must have been adorable...what was her name?
Did you have pictures of her?

The only thing that probably wouldn't be is breathing. :) But yes, almost anything to an excess is harmful.

The part about excessive sanity was adapted from an Igor's observations in Thief of Time, an interesting and somewhat independent story on the Death series.

As for the hamster, she had the name of the best intellectual female virtual pet in a popular series of virtual pet products in the version released in either 2007 or 2006. As for pictures, if I can find the memory card of the camera, I might be able to find some decent ones. However, she does look like basically any other member of her species with a slightly thinner skull and thicker legs (with slightly bent hind legs).

Hyperventilation causes alkalosis and seems to have similar effects to stereotypical drugs. Living to an excess leads to a growing sum of issues ranging from senescent cells to mutations causing the production of endotoxins.

Dear Trigas, If you are being stalked, I can certainly understand your need for a tower (your avatar)... Does it have a drawbridge to pull up?

 No unfortunately it doesn't! That'd be an awesome addition though. Too bad they weren't more creative in the 1800's

Can you pour molten lead or quicklime down the sides of the tower?

Is that because you ran out of them, and couldn't cope with the trauma of restocking your cupboards though?

Cos I could always post you some if you like.
