The answer format I wanted was something like, "uncertain," because it cannot be predicted easily. Everything on the cellular scale is chaotic to such an extent that random becomes an appealing description (and generalization).

Even without the factor of volition, it is already difficult to predict the motion of apparently simple planetary systems because everything is attracted to some extent (mostly to an insignificant extent) to everything else. Add volition and there is the possibility of death by random homicide, poisoning, car incidents, and more in addition to the many possible deaths that do not involve volition. This is why the figurative (and probably literal) butterfly ruins everything.

The fact of the matter still is, neither one of us will ever know the future or be able to factor for every variable that we encounter in our lives. People die mistakes happen, life goes on. The only thing we have control of really in our life is how we react to each situation we encounter, and quite frankly that's all that matters. Trying to figure out the rest will only end in peril.
