I've been thinking that metallic blue and metallic green would be better colours for WP than the colours that we have now. They can be the same shades but metallic. We could also have some bigger and better emoticons.

I find MIT to be the perfect match for me. It's nerdy, yet cooperative and friendly. :D I really hope I get in! And I hope you get into a college you love too! It's not about the prestige, it's about how well you fit, really.

Or a simpler script. My computer freezes whenever I'm on Wrong Planet for more than 20 minutes.

I like the idea of metallic green, but I'd prefer a silvery color to go with it, or a dark or electric blue.

(I don't know if you can tell, but green is my favorite color.)

Especially the hacks! I find the removal of CalTech's (rejected as well) cannon extremely funny because of the gullibility of the people involved. About fitting in, I suppose you are right. Did you try Stanford as well? It seemed to be another choice with good weather and student density and it has custom majors.

If you haven't heard about this yet, the English version of Wikipedia will be blacked out all day in the US on Wednesday. This is to protest SOPA, the Internet-censorship bill.

I think it's a great idea. SOPA will shut down websites like Wrong Planet for no reason.

I worry about the fact that Wikipedia could be seen as little more than the portal it is and end as a futile protest.

What a shame.. Would you like to learn Quenya (Elven constructed language by Mr. Tolkien)?

I liked (the mental kind) your post about PAE and, "male," HIN and the distinction between economic theories and hypotheses.
