I concur (and will write a new set of lyrics for, "Dies Irae").

Four votes in less than a minute? People are getting angry about SOPA/PIPA.

I blacked out part of my facebook profile picture and posted something in the "Against the SOPA" group. Now my profile picture is becoming viral. (It's the one with the bird-like thing censored and saying "this picture censored to protest SOPA/PIPA".)

Can you blame them?

"Hey all! We think we know best are we're going to shove it down your throats and degrade not only the quality of the information available to you, but the QUANTITY of it as well! because some rich f***s might lose money if we don't!"

Let them be angry. Maybe something will finally get done in this world.

I am too disconnected to do much more at this point. However much I support free enterprise, I support freedom of information even more.

Too much anger would be harmful, especially in a crowd/mob mentality. The French Revolution should serve as a bloody example of anger without proper justification.

I've got the mother of all pinched nerves in my neck/shoulder. Hurts like a sonuvagun.

I hope it is not the kind that starts in the neck and spreads through the shoulder and eventually to the base of the skull and induces nausea if left without sleep.

To be honest, I never signed my drawing up to become an open-source picture. I suppose I could take the fact that so many people are copying part of my work as a compliment, but ahem, it's still MY work.

So yes, there is a really severe mob mentality here. Not without good reason, but I'm just saying... Mob mentalities are bad.

This depends entirely on what defines proper justification.

Try to censor me purely for the reasons of profit when most of the people who are losing to piracy are already very rich is justification enough for me to get angry and vocal about it.

The conditions that the French peasants lived in around the time of the revolution would be more than enough justification for me to get violent.

I know it was never actually said, but it is a case of "If they have no bread, let them eat cake."

That's....oddly specific.

The best thing for me seems to be a very hot shower followed by a nap. My best conjecture for this is that the circulatory issues are resolved by the temperature change and the sleep resets the pain center. Medication is a last resort treatment because even a short nap (without an excessively bent neck) can relieve it.

Once I'm off work in 5 and a half hours, I will do just that. Thanks!

Glad to be of help. :)

Note that if it takes too long, it generally either gets forgotten (good because it does not recur too soon) or gets worse (bad because of nausea). Heat seems to be the most effective temporary treatment. When it happens to me, it seems to be a result of sleeping with a bent neck, so that would be a consideration for the nap.

SOPA is a soap too strong! It is a lye and PIPA is a pipe dream!

ADDITION:
I got too frenzied about SOPA however serious it is. I must not allow myself to feel too much because of the likely inheritance of heart issues and necessity of noradrenaline for the final exams (because anger can be a nice motivator).

What is this SOAP thing, anyway?
