I've seen it removed in the thread in the Music subforum.

Maybe it just isn't noticed so easily though. Dunno.

If you go through the "what are you listening to now?" type threads, a lot of posts have explicit music, and the mods are active in these threads too, but I've never seen anything censored.

I think the policy is to remove them if they have swearwords in the title? I've definitely seen that happen in the what are you listening to now threads, both in random and in the music subforum, and I know people who've had warnings for that.

I don't know about music with swearwords in it. Clearly they can't do anything about that. They'd never be able to do anything but listen to music all day.

I'm not sure why you're so fussed though? Do you want them to remove everything with swearing in it?

I posted an explicit song in this thread (on the previous page now, I believe) without swearing in the title and it got censored by the big evil mods, then I wrote "cucking funts" and that got censored too! :(

I suppose it's just using common sense.

I mean, this sub-forum is often used by children. Like 9 or 10 year olds. So if you think that the music you post is suitable for them, then ok. If you wouldn't be happy with your 10 year old sister listening to it, then don't post it. It's only polite.

The thing is, I'm not a fan of censorship, but I also think this place has rules. I don't pay to come here, it's free. And I've made some friends here, and it has helped me a lot. So why would I want to deliberately break those rules, or spend time antagonising the mods, who are not paid, and do this for love of the site?

And you wonder why some mods cant stand you Asp-Z.
Gee I wonder why, I mean its not like you are unable to recognize your wrongdoings or anything(you just did several posts expecting Cornflake to believe cuking funts was gibberish, do you think he is five or something?)

Speaking for myself, as a person with limited brain... while it's not swearing, anyone posting it knows that the human brain will immediately turn it into swearwords. If you were a person repeatedly trying to challenge the rules on swearing and make a point, that would be one way of doing it.

What do you think could possibly be meant by "the mods are being cucking funts"?

The key is "in a jokey way".
Place it in context and the motive and intended meaning become clearer.

I don't think repeating what was said without attacking someone by using what was said is a problem.
I encounter it all the time. In school, for example, if someone says/writes something really obscene and they get written up for it, the person who writes them up has to write whatever the person said, no matter how obscene. Doesn't mean they're attacking anyone with the obscene phrase.

like he says ^^^

people. it's not truly a swear BUT it's a pretend-swear aimed at moderators in order to be personally insulting.

if he similarly said, "moderators are shiles of pit" it would also be against the rules on a couple of different levels. it's essentially like swearing, it's offensive, and it's a personal attack. enough said.
