I (kind of) see what you did there. Does the original Latin version even make sense?

The last thing I wanted to talk about was Elementary School. Thanks a lot, Christy! :x

Absolutely not. Really, it does not even make much sense unless you know a decent amount about the accent and dialect required for the effect.

The activity here on Wrong Planet has been so sluggish lately. Does anyone think it might have to due with the "server hiccup" that happened a couple of days ago? Or is it just part of the natural ebb and flow of things, where this site is just more active at some times rather than others?

I notice that we have two fast periods in a year. One of the fast periods for WP is the summer. The other time that WP seems to be fast, is for around three weeks in December.

Hai, and super-bowl was just a few days ago. And even tho I'm not a fan I'm sure many members are still reenacting their favorite plays with a Nerf football in their living room.

Hmm, that makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the input, Nim and Mick. :)

Took my mother to "Olive Garden" today. I don't think shes ever been to a fancy restaurant of any sort.

We started by her being confused by the menu/choices. Then her deciding she wanted this "3 courses for 12 dollars" meal shes seen on tv because "we can take one home". When I explained to her it was one meal with three "courses" such as salad/breadsticks, then a entrée, followed by dessert... She was like... "oh, I thought it was 3 meals". Then we got salad and she was asking where the silverware was. And there was a giant green napkin rolled up by her plate. So I had to tell her "in the napkin".....

Overall a interesting experience.

It's weird to think it's only 9:30ish on the west coast.

I just posted this as a comment on Facebook:

It think it's time to yell at the cheesecake. Make it realize you are going to eat it. Put other desserts on pikes around your yard. Play videos of people eating cheesecake. Dance around the cheesecake with fork. Say, "hey cheesecake, you sure got a purty mouth there cheesecake!"

I dislike Adult Swim. I wish they would air Regular Show and Adventure Time in the middle of the night instead. That would definitely help me get to sleep. (Not because they're boring, but because they comfort me.)

Our daschund has a leg sprain. He's on rest and some anti inflammatories. No idea how he got it.

I hate seeing him hurt, and I'm at work tonight instead of home with him, and the worry is killing me.

I'm drinking a Beez Neez, it's a honey wheat beer. It doesn't taste too beery and it seems to have a smooth aftertaste (like vanilla almost!). May be the drink to help transition my taste buds from cider to beer.

I am a chili junkie myself. How does your mom make chili?
