I don't know what it is, but have you never had a belly button that had a smell that was repulsive but strangely enchanting and a bit, oh, beefy? It's horrid and oddly, weirdly nice at the same time.

My belly button sometimes hurts, like an achy feeling that goes real deep. I always scare myself into thinking I have a hernia or something. Of course, that's never the case, and it soon goes, but it's odd and very uncomfortable.

Maybe you haven't exerted enough and have weakened stomach muscles? That could also lead to a hernia. I highly doubt you have a hernia though. You'd know if you had one. :P
