I forgot to update the blog for several weeks.

Have you seen my replies to one of your old posts yet? I'd love to draw one of those creatures for you if I can.
By right of being the Creator-God of that multiverse, I hereby grant you permission to draw prototypes. Even if they vary from the design concept, you can be assured that there are countless worlds in countless galaxies that would love to adopt life.
So for the concept for the Bellignians, I imagined a somewhat filthy race that seems to radiate anger and revulsion. Perhaps, scales or a dripping fluid of some sort would add to that concept, and spikes would definitely increase that trait. They are chasing carnivores, so they are likely to have a posture well adapted to chasing prey, but they do have a set of hands in much the same way chimpanzees or the primate that can walk on its front limbs in addition to using them as manipulators can do that. It is a pouch-bearing creature, but the pouch does not need to be visible. Unlike humans, these creatures (which will be renamed, probably with assistance from other language families) receive most of their sensory input from touch and taste. They are rather dim-witted with an average member at three standard deviations below the human average, and they are exceedingly violent.
Of course, I still know relatively little about design, but this will be a start.
