I think the next time I'm asked to be part of a panel whose mission it is to discuss educational issues relevant to the autistic community, I'm going to be including the idea that autistic persons don't learn in a concrete,single-minded manner.

If my parents and I actually do wind up going to Comic Con, my dad and I are going in costume. I think my dad wants to dress up as a character from either The Nightmare Before Christmas or Edward Scissorhands. I haven't decided on who I'm going as. My first choice would be the Tim Burton version of the Mad Hatter, but I'm also considering another Johnny Depp character, Barnabas Collins, if Dark Shadows turns out to be all that I'm hyping it up to be within my mind. Another idea I had was to go as one of the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic characters. I'm thinking someone besides the main characters, but who is still popular, like Spitfire or Trixie.
