I love my brother and I'm going to miss him when he leaves in about 7 or 8 hours

I've had a very pleasant afternoon and evening on WP today and tonight and I felt that I could talk about everything that I wanted to. It's nearing 10 PM and I need to be up early for my volunteer job, tomorrow.

Anyone got a spare room? Might need it

Please tell the Qld Liberal National Party that you strongly oppose shooting and electrocution of flying-foxes as methods of crop protection. They are currently banned in Queensland but the LNP has said it will allow lethal methods again. Two of the targeted flying-foxes are threatened species.

Go to http://www.dontshootbats.com/take-action.html for contact details for the LNP leader and candidates and points to make. The dontshootbats.com website has loads of information about flying-foxes and why the LNP’s proposal is inhumane, environmentally damaging and ineffective.
It is important to do this now – while the LNP wants to win votes from those who care about the environment.
Please promote this call far and wide (email, tweet, facebook etc). Send to your friends, family and groups. (Tell all your friends in Ashgrove, for that is the seat that the LNP leader is trying to win.) We need to show the LNP that it is not just a few batty people who care, that this is a fundamental issue about wildlife cruelty and conservation.
It has implications for all wildlife, not just because flying-foxes are ecologically vital but because it threatens the requirement under Queensland laws for humaneness in crop protection and other actions involving protected wildlife.

Computers are really starting to tick me off.

Like the mutant's in the X-men movies there are people whom would love to see a cure which would help to make all autistic people normalized, Well, that is fine and dandy but, I'm okay with being whom I am..

To Whom It May Concern, Though I am hardly an educated person, as some WP members are, it seems to me that if a brain is wired a certain way, there is not a 'cure' for it, any more than a 'cure' for blue eyes, or left-handedness, or curly hair. I believe that each of us has a place in this world and have a right to be here and to find our place. Could the well-intentioned crusaders who do not want us to be as we were born to be just kindly take their efforts elsewhere?
Perhaps focus their energy on child abuse, spousal abuse, earth-destroying mining and disposal methods; there are many causes that could use them.
