^^^ the irish have a better phrase for that- "trust everybody but cut the cards." in any case, I took an afternoon nap and dreamt that I was watching a police training PSA on a wall-sized tv set, about 50 cops were crammed into a 2-car garage that had two cars parked in it, so they were pretty close together, and in their black uniforms with full battle rattle reminded me of a bunch of squirming black ants. they were doing some intense quasi-battle-type physical moves, one on one, and it got pretty violent to the point where the broadcaster blacked the video and all you heard was some panting, grunting and body-slamming. then as I drifted into a twilight reverie I had a distinct dream image of myself in a future lifetime, a cop myself, married to another cop, we were both rugged and compact, in perfect physical shape, mentally and psychologically sound, with children together, and we were happy, and in the dream a voice-over said that I was building the foundations for that future lifetime in this lifetime at present. my wife in that dream had reddish-brown hair just down to her collar, like a longish pixie, and I looked a bit like a brown-haired version of the actor matt damon as he appeared in the martian, very wiry.

always seems to me that your dreams a very specific, like they have nothing open to interpretation if you know what i mean. must have a very detail orientated brain or at least the ability to absorb a lot of the detail of things, i think thats a very cool thing to have.

The night before last I had a very uncomfortable dream where I was on a big cruise ship with my mom. We were still at the dock, but there was a a lot of people hanging around and doing stuff, and then my mom disappeared and I was wandering all over the ship trying to find her, but I couldn't. I had no place to stay in or rest, and people seemed to ignore me completely. One really disturbing thing I saw was a baby floating in a pool right-side up while everyone else was swimming around and not taking any notice. later I saw the baby lying in the bottom of the pool and still no one else noticed.

I then tried to make myself either take control of the dream or wake up. When I couldn't wake up I got a weird idea. I believed I was in this dream because of the brand of milk I usually drink, so if I drank some of a completely different brand the dream would end with me finding my mom. So I went to a fridge - in my dream - found an unusual-looking carton of milk and drank some. I soon found my mother who was on the dock, not even on the ship. Very Freudian with the milk-mother thing.

You were a "milk carton kid" in reverse. You drinking milk out of fridge magically reunited you with your mom! Lol!

I went to the theater to see this new screening of a short film.

When I got there, I was the only one there.
A still frame of a stick person walking was playing. It continued for about forty minutes.
Meanwhile, I fell asleep.

When I woke up, I was sitting on the couch with a towel across my face. I was really bored so I decided to watch Bones.

Literally the screen was just a skeleton lying in the sand. "Hi. I'm Bones.
Uhhh.. this is my show."

I flipped the TV off and got on my phone. My parents were out and wouldn't be back all evening.
I was sick so I didn't feel like eating. I went on the Internet
but the only site was Wrongplanet. 8O
I tried to message my friends but no one was replying.
My dad was like, "Be sure to work on your homework~" but it was literally all just gibberish.
When I tried to do literally anything and I couldn't do any of it.

The only thing I could do was my art, so I practiced shading for the rest of the dream. And listened to Kacey Musgraves.

And when the day was over, it felt like the day was wasted.
Eventually I just gave up.
The next day I slept and looked at the ceiling and pondered.
There was nothing distantly fulfilling or interesting. Entertainment was like the stick person in the movie. Eventually I stopped putting effort into anything.

My mom told me I wasn't trying, I was just being lazy.
But I was. :?

I dreamt I was floating near the ceiling of a local shopping mall, and a flash mob suddenly descended upon the mall and started robbing everything in sight. then the cops/security descended en masse and arrested 'em all, and put 'em chained up in orange plastic crates and orange plastic cages, they were already dressed in orange prison uniforms, some were crying while others were defiantly making faces and cursing.

I dreamt I was in one of my parents' old houses from decades back, and it was somehow transported to where my present house is. anyways, I was inside it by myself, just minding my own business, and i went to the master bedroom to lie down and take a nap. i had a mini-dream that was interrupted with the sound of commotion, when I opened my eyes i noticed there were bugs all over the place, and that the furniture in the master bedroom had all been knocked over, and a light switch had been yanked out of the wall. I reached down and noticed the switch was sitting on a little wooden box, and I flipped the switch on and a light on the switch lit up in addition to the room light. then I went across the hall to another bedroom where there were more bugs, these were maroon-colored ants and were not smashable, they just would elude my smashers each time I tried to smash them. frustrating! anyways, in this other bedroom was a computer monitor, it suddenly lit up, apparently in a delayed response to my flipping that weird dis-installed light switch in the master bedroom. the monitor had a speaker in it, and I heard a multiway phone conversation between the DSL and phone line people, saying that the household at this address had just turned on a modem. I could see on the monitor the video of the various operators on-line, and a map of my neighborhood popped up in a corner of the screen, illustrated in red and orange and blue, each of the operators visible on the screen discussed the technical aspects of the phone and DSL service. i turned around and found the front end of a school classroom with a yellow and pink curtain drawn over the chalkboard. behind the curtain were 3 unopened bolts of cloth on round cardboard tubes. i got the feeling in my dream that my mother left them there for some reason. then all of a sudden, another wave of these bugs invaded the house- flying little striped bugs that looked like skinny bees, and big black rubbery spiders that had these huge bags on their posteriors, and when you struck or stepped on one of 'em the bag would explode and release an obnoxious coarse white powder that if you tried to fan it away, each coarse grain of powder would pop and release a fine mist of white gas. I made the mistake of smashing one of those nasty little hummers, and nasty stuff got all over my clothing and hands and hair and face, it would not wash off. it smelled a bit like pepper and stung a bit. I had to go outside for some fresh air. i tried taking off my gloves and flapping them against a board outside to release the powder, but to no avail, it just released more nasty gas. then i awoke.

I was dreaming that my NT girlfriend was talking to my mom and my mom was very skeptical of my relationship with her. My NT girlfriend and I took turns explaining how we know each other, but my mom showed no sign of accepting what we were telling her. Then the dream cut to my house where my NT girlfriend was talking to my sister and they managed to get along just fine. The dream then ended with my mom dressed like a private detective chasing after me and my GF with my sister riding a motorcycle, shouting at my mom to stop.

In reality, I do want my mom and my sister to be acquainted with my lady and I am willing to wait until whenever my girlfriend is ready to visit. Whenever she leaves work {she is a waitress at an upscale restaurant close to my school}, she is always tired, so she'll visit my house whenever she has a day off from work.

i dreamt for an interminable amount of time, about cleaning underneath filth-encrusted sinks with a dirty rag, then taking that same dirty rag and wiping down the walls of an already pristine white shower stall, befouling it for no good reason, and i did this over and over, while a family relative had his back to me but was silently judging me.

I dreamt I was watching on a wall-sized tv set, a slow-motion replay of the last few seconds of "Jeopardy!" and the tv display zoomed in on alex trebek's left sideburn for some reason. his sideburn pulsated and acted like a sentient being. I sure have weird dreams sometimes. :alien:

focused cerebral energy, dispassionate intellectualism, archness. he is so smart that his sideburns are nearly as smart as he is! :o
