It's cold and rainy where I live. I don't get it - it was sunny and warm 2 days ago :? This weather is not making my bad mood any better.

I'm hoping for a warm and sunny weekend.

We got a major heatwave here! It is going to last, too! 8)

You're lucky. Can I have some of that? :)

Sure. Be my guest. :)

81 as a high, 50 as a low, no rain. Been like this for months. Blue skies.

Well, color me green with envy! The early to mid spring months here are always stormy. I don't think I could handle living somewhere where it rains a lot throughout the year, like Washington or the UK. Bad weather puts me in a bad mood, or rather, exacerbates existing negative emotions.

Not sure if ruining Pi day... or making the song better.

Apart from collecting and an interest in mechanics, I'm not actually a fan of most powerful firearms [designed for war] insofar as using them and what they represented to the societies that made such; I look at my Carcano and just see...hundreds of thousands dead by its design, the same with my old Enfield. It's not the weapon, of course (people kill people), but what it represents to the people who wielded such and the modern fabrication techniques that allow for mass murder on a scale that has only been on this planet for such a short time. I know it's no different than millions dying from disease in the scheme of things, but the intentions of the societal group are what I loathe, and I just see them when I look at surplus and modern rifles.

The only powerful weapons that I have no association with mass murder are your humble 12 gauge shotguns, a tool as much as a weapon, and they're the only powerful weapons that I like, morally.

I'm funny like that.

I know I know, but I'm lazy and don't always stick to schedules, even if the first post on the entire forum in 2012 was made by me (yeah ;) )

It's...wait, what day is it?
I knew this would happen - it's Thursday, right?
