-Own 3 separate copies of the Hobbit
-Own and read the Silmarillion
-Own the extended edition movies, I'm waiting till the Hobbit films are all out so I can get the box set.
-have a replica of the one ring
-always secretly think to yourself while eating a pop tart that it's lembas
-repeat this like a mantra to yourself: azg nazg gimbatul
-have a really good Gollum impression
-have the LOTR soundtracks and listen to them religiously

The Hobbit was the first book I ever read on my own. Have read it several times and also LOTR, The Silmarillion, Unfinished Tales etc. Very much enjoyed all of it. Love all of the history, races, cultures, languages and cartography. And of course the overall mythology.

20/whatever number we're on/I don't really keep count: You have a giant poster with all of the dwarves, Gandalf, and Bilbo on it.
You have limited edition statutes of the great kings guarding the river [oh, what's it called?! i can't think today], a statue of Minas Tirith, and a statue of Thorin guarding the other statues on your bookshelf.

You have at least five supplementary material books on Middle-earth
You can quote both the books and the movies.
You have come up with several plausible theories as to why the fellowship couldn't just ride the eagles to Mordor.

Yep, I've memorized the ring poem too!

i like lotr i even play lord of the rings themed games and know all the lore (in fact i know some elvish like mae govvanen meaning well met)
