Provided you are not poverty-stricken, and don't actually kill anyone, even mad can be seen as "eccentric", though it does help if you have a stately home and estate.

I haven't gone bankrupt yet, though it is chosen more often, as the penalties are less severe than previously.

Anybody wanna recommend a nice little Agatha Christie village within walking distance of transportation? Is it easier to be an aspie in England?

Do you have a million pounds to spare? Just possibly half a million would do.

Aspieness did tie in to a degree with a formal, stiff-upper-lip Englishness, but this has been evaporating since the 1950's
Possibly a half-mad Victorian scientist, rarely leaving his laboratory and with social contact largely confined to occasional exchanges with his wife/housekeeper might represent the pinnacle of Aspie acceptance in the UK.

Isaac Newton, antisocial, obsessed with alchemy, freaked out on mercury, and possibly Britain's greatest scientist... Yes, there's room to be odd in the UK, if you're good at it.

The food. The music (the Last Night of the Proms is something to behold). The people (well, once you get out of the cities). The pubs. :)

I like how green it is and how beautiful the land is. Here in the USA we have dry lands and wet lands. Some places are dry all year around. It's even like that in my state in the eastern area but it's real green in the western but there is this part of land in my valley where it's dry because the grass is always yellow.
I like how your buildings look and how they’re made. We make them out of wood here, bla and you guys use rocks and concrete.
I like the very old buildings you guys have there dated before the 1500’s and you have ruins there. Our ruins is just rotted log homes and burned down buildings, or condemned ones.
I like London a lot and I like how clean it is except for the Soho area. There was trash littered all over the streets and sidewalks. Despite the population, there wasn’t very much personal cars on the streets. Most of the vehicles were busses, taxis and double decker buses. Some cities over here are trying to do that too now to reduce pollution.
I also liked the food there too.

I have been to Stonehenge, it was fantastic!

What I like about England is that it has had an empire for so long, and the traditional fish and chips. It is also home to the GMT.

The British/English accent.....It cracks me up when the English shout out the word "Bloody". What's else.....Liz Hurley (I somehow had a crush on that sexy English chick).
