This reminds me of a mixtape I made of the top 40 in 1982, that had david bowie and elton john on it too, and i played it to death and death and death.

This reminds me of when the shows (also known as funfair elsewhere in the world) used to come to a disused quarry near where I stayed. I would spend hours on the waltzers and chairy planes. Meanwhile, 'Words' was blasted out over the loud speakers, as well as some other songs, but 'Words' is the only one I truly remember.

That it was. I went through several; I rode them for a couple of hours every day. If I did something wrong, I lost the scooter privileges.

Just go to YouTube and look for songs like "Elmo's Song," "Rubber Duckie," "The People in Your Neighborhood," or "I Love Trash." If while listening to these songs, you say to yourself "Oh WOW, I remember this!" then you've had my childhood! :lol:

This thread doesn't make me feel nostalgic, it makes me feel old. Some of these things are in my very recent memory (but I'm more than double the age of some of you).
