Someone dying, I guess. There have been a number of things I've seen that have not been good, though.

I once watched helplessly as my cat cracked open the skull of a squeaking field mouse between his jaws.

The movies Shoot 'Em Up and Wanted

Some homeless drug addict masturbating over the grave of a young girl who had been killed in a car accident. It happened a few years ago when I was picking up a rabbit hutch I bought off CL, and the guy was doing his thing a few houses away in the alley. The owner of the hutch called the cops after we left.

My 16 year old neighbor being arrested for assaulting her mother and her brother and cousin came running to my house after the fight between his mother and his sister and she ordered him to call the police. Then they freaked out even more when the police officer arrived at the home.

I watched as my (then) three week old daughter nearly drowned when fluid drained into her lungs from severe acid reflux.

When I was about 4 y.o. I saw a car run over a dog. The car was moving slowly and that awful part was that the dog somehow got wrapped around the rear wheel (still alive) and the driver kept stepping on the gas to go, but the car wouldn't move because the wheel was slipping against the dog's body.

Also, (just remembered) -- in 6th grade a teacher showed a very graphic film of the aftermath of the bombing of Hiroshima. There's one scene where a doctor opens a kid's eyelids with his fingers and sticks a big ball of cotton into each empty socket. I still have that image pop up in nightmares sometimes.
