The foul commercialisation of it all. One great big excuse to shaft yet more money out of people. People go mental at that time of year for no reason at all.

I wonder if they think about the Baby Jesus in the manger when they are stampeding and assaulting each other at the Walmart at 3AM?

It's just so bright and loud. At the mall when shopping (which I don't mind so much when it isn't crowded) you have to pass the Santa and it's always crowded there and the people are all bunched together and you have to pass them.

The other day I was in this store with delicate items and there were people everywhere talking, walking in and out of the store, and it and was a struggle just to get out of the store (the store was very confined, with a rustic feel). I fell almost like I was going to fall over.

I don't dislike the season. I like to buy people gifts. I just don't like the fact I react badly to the crowds.

How everything turns holiday-themed. Just because it's December, does that mean everything has to be red and green and mention Christmas or Santa or gifts or snow or whatever else they think will put people in a holiday mood? It's a good thing I hardly watch live TV anymore, because all the Christmas commercials seriously annoy me. The only time when this kind of thing gets worse is during the Olympics (and I just think it's worse because I'm marginally interested in the holiday season, whereas I have no interest in the Olympics).

How December seems to be starting out for me, this year. I've experienced a very Soul-crushing loss, within the first half of December, last year. The entire city of London had experienced the same loss that I've had. I have a rather large, red Angel looking down at me, dingning her bell...Ding! Ding!...Ding! Ding! And she has that permenent smile that was well-known around London. Why can't I just enjoy the whole month of December, like I used to, before Last December in 2005?

The Bloody Gift Crazed Drivers ! !! I drive with one hand at the ready, just to honk at the idiots. Thay careen out into traffic, cut across lanes, zoom into mall parking lots, and all while yakking on their idiot cellphones!! ! You have ten months to tuck away a gift or three, BUT NO, they wait until December to drive like their trousers are on fire ! !!

Speaking of cars...

I can't stand people who break into them around this time of year. Nothing says "Happy Birthday Jesus" like having your car stereo ripped off.
