I am extremely afraid of heights, anxiety-attack afraid, so I'll go with the Above-And-Below-Ground Plan.
Actually, the Third Reich began something very much like that in Berlin....there are huge subterranean complexes there that most people do not know about.

Thought you all might like to see the Peoples Apian Council of Provisional Revolutionaries, September Newsletter

September 2012

Greetings!

All the cells and cadres have been working overtime to complete preparations for the glorious day when Aspia is no longer a dream, but a reality. Here are some highlights from the monthly situational report and planning meeting held in Oslo, Sweden on the 4th.

1. Cell 11 has nearly completed the Aspian Bill of Rights. Modeled off of the USA document, the following changes were suggested and approved by the Provisonal Congress of Representatives in attendance. 'The Right to Bare Arms' has been removed. In Aspia hunting will be severely restricted and the rationale was put forth that only Bears have the right to their own arms. In its place has been added 'The Right to Obsess'.

2. While most Aspians have given no thought to what happens to all those Canadians when we take over their country, the Revolutionary Aspian Provisional Peoples Council has thought of everything. A detailed plan was presented to the Representative Congress whereby all Canadians will be given 4 choices.

(1) Stay where they are and become full Aspian citizens, subject to all laws and rights therein.
(2) Be given a All Expenses Paid vacation to Disneyland or Disneyworld (USA), for life. In recognition of Quebecs unique heritage, Quebecians and any other Canadian French speakers will be given the option of taking their vacation in Disneyland Paris.
(3) Be allowed to take over the Identity and Real Estate of any Aspian that has immigrated to Aspia. In this option the Canadian will go to the Aspians home of origin and take over the house, property, legal standing and job of the departed Aspian.
(4) Become a slave and work in the Jellybean Mines of Manitoba.

3. Revolutions are of course not cheap, and lacking allies, financing the Revolution has been a priority from day one. Aspian Anonymous Cells 17, 18, 62, 89, 101, 123, 190, 211, 262, 342, 355, 370, 372, 432 and 533 reported they have nearly completed the preparations for operation 'PAYDAY'. In this operation, at a predetermined time, the entire country of Switzerland will be hacked. All the money in every Swiss bank will be transferred into a single Revolutionary Aspian Government account on Malta and all Revolutionary Aspian Visa Cards activated. If you have not yet recieved your card please see your Cell Aspian Resources specialist. Remember to keep reciepts for purchases over $25 Popcorn.

Oh, I've always wanted one of those. Figure something like that would end up being useful at some point.

Well it is a digital only attack on Switzerland so I am not sure how we can get the knifes, but I do think it Ironic how the Swiss Army spends so much time designing a Knife for an army that hasn't been in a war in 200 years.

I carry one of those Swiss army knives all the time. It is indeed very useful A--Floating--Moon. Mine was a gift, but I think they sell them at Wal-Mart.

Hardly  :P

As Aide to the Second Secretary to the Minister of Useless Information, it is simply my job to disseminate party ideology. I was considering putting in for a transfer to the Ministry of Lies, but the vacancy they announced, well... apparently was a lie.

Deceitfulness?
Governmental untrustworthiness, already?
We haven't even taken over the Canadian Parliament Building yet, and we've got Political Lies?

Wow, we Aspies are certainly ahead of schedule!

Darn, we're good!

Hey, what are you doing ? Trying to resuscitate this thread? It's already on the ground groaning in its death throes. I would report you to the Threadkillers Society except that would resuscitate that thread and create a functionally incoherant paradox. Come to think of it, theoretically a Threadkillers Society should not be able to exsist. Maybe aliens are behind it.

Dear Toy_Soldier, We ARE the aliens, silly, and after so many, many generations, we STILL do not all fit in or fool 'THEM'.
That's why we are creating our own country, that and because we are not sure which galaxy our home world is in.
If we could even get back there.
Seems someone misplaced the Mother Ship......

There was a rumor that someone (don't know who) took the batteries from the remote to use in some dragon toy.
The dragon toy then bit someone else's toe, and she got all excited, thought she' discovered a tiny carnivorous dinosaur whose species had avoided extinction, and she's been crawling around in every cave she can find, looking for more of them.
She has draped every available tree in mosquito netting, hoping to capture a live mini pterodactyl.
No one really has the heart to tell her.....

Well, now thats an idea.

We make pterodactyl clones and train them so we can ride them. Then we can go to Wendy's, take over the world, whatever.

Dear Toy_Soldier,
What are we going to feed them?
Can they be litter box trained, or do they, like birds, just 'let go' whenever and wherever?
OurAspergian country will probably make a fortune on international pay-per-view videos of the hatchlings, especially when they first try to fly.
This is rather a good idea of yours, actually.

Dear Sylkat,

What are we going to feed them?

Wendy's

Can they be litter box trained, or do they, like birds, just 'let go' whenever and wherever?

They will be housed in something like stables with stalls. Probably have straw or sawdust on the ground. Someone will have to muck out the stalls, yes. Probably the apprentice riders.

OurAspergian country will probably make a fortune on international pay-per-view videos of the hatchlings, especially when they first try to fly.

At first yes, but everything becomes familiar after a while. Pterodactyl rides will be a more consistant source of income.

This is rather a good idea of yours, actually.

Credit should really go to that rumored  'someone' with the mosquito netting.
