I had ECT without enough muscle relaxant once. I could only describe myself afterwards as feeling "broken".

I thought you werent even supposed to be concious for ECT!! Let alone not enough relaxant!

They do give general anaesthesia first.
It was not until I woke up that I hurt. The muscle relaxant was so I didn't injure myself during the seizure. But there was not enough, so I did hurt.

Physical: Breaking my leg, Ice Skating. I was on crutches for two and a half weeks.

Emotional: Being called a ret*d by my Peers in High School. My IQ is 113. I'm confused, not slow.

Psycological: The demise of the Routemaster. I'm begining to wonder if I'll ever get over that. If the obsession will ever calm down.

Uh, guys, you do realise that my sister was only going for PHYSICAL pain, not mental and psychological? If she wanted that, she would probably be better off going to The Haven... so yeah, not mental stuff, just Phsyical, please!

When I was younger, I broke my right wrist, right hand and a finger in my right hand in three separate incidents in 18 months!

More recently I was at a friends birthday party where I accidentally ran into the corner of one of those shelves that you rest drinks on that was on a pillar in a bar - V.painful for a few others, ended up with a bruise that had a diameter of 4 inches on my right lower back. At least it showing it to the young ones was amusing if only to see the look on their faces! 8O

I was dealing with a Heel Spur, just a few years ago. That was painful.

Physicaly or emotionaly?
Emotionaly: I once wrote a story and shared it with someone I thought was my friend (my mom still likes her and thinks I should be nice to her) and she went behind my back and showed it to this person who is a producer for Animal Planet. My "friend" told her I was Autistic. The producer lady had once worked on a documentaty about autistic kids for a public station and was supposed to cut it to thirty minnutes but she felt that would be wrong. Anyway she wants to use that footage and get some new footage of me interacting with meerkats (my "friend" runs a meerkat "santuary" in California and they would have flown me there and also to South Africa. But nooooooo, Animal Planet was working on another meerkat documentary (their stupid "Meerkat Manor" ). After I relaized it was never going to happen I went into a depression and started cutting myself. I will never be the same as I used to be.

Physical: I can't feel physical pain the same way other people can. Even other AS people.

I hit my head on a steel bleacher one when I was 7 or 8. My forehead swelled up and it bled.

Emotionally: When my fiance broke up with me (both times). When my greatgrandmother died because she was my best friend.

Physically: Three of the four head injuries I've had. I swear I remember my head injury when I was 9 months old. I remember the severe pain, the taste of blood in my mouth. Then when I fell on icy parking lot and hit the back of my head and when I got a concussion during my black belt test from a roundhouse kick to side of head. I went flying across the room from the force of the kick.

Also when I fell on a boulder with all my weight coming down on right lower leg & broke my right fibula. It hurted so much I blacked out for a couple seconds. I also broke my left ankle at same time, but it didn't hurt near as much. I was alone at an isolated lake and crawled nearly 1/2 mile to get to the car and then drove 45 minutes into town for help.

I've sprained my ankle and skinned both of my knees, on the same day, ten summers ago.
