Me too! However, besides my previous mention of being fantastic at making a mess out of things (that plenty of people have praised me for), there must be something positive I'm good at. But what does one do when she has no clue (even by age 53) what she's good at?

FWIW, I like this thread because I am interested in finding out if the talents I have are common to other aspies.

I like to think I'm a good artist in general. People always ask me what my medium is, and I say "all of them." Well, almost. Paint, clay, stuff I found randomly, whatever.
I'm sometimes a decent expository writer, but my narratives are terrible.
And even though my main pursuit in life is art (because it's what I know how to do), my real passion is linguistics. I have little formal education in the area, but years of lurking forums and reading have brought me great understanding, and I pick up the basics of new languages fairly easily, though fluency is another thing altogether.

I'm quite skilled at writing baroque counterpoint. I've helped juniors and seniors with their counterpoint finals although I've never taken the class. Ah, the plight of a Bach enthusiast.

I'm very good at the occasional, clever, solution to a difficult construction problem, and I'm very good with money.

Before I say that I'm good at anything...

All of you who said that we shouldn't state our talents... Just. Stop. It's okay to recognise that you're good at something and tell people. It's not okay to BRAG. There is a difference between telling someone, "I think I'm a good artist" and saying "I'm a great artist and one of the best in my school and got 100 over and over again in art class since kindergarten!" Even if they do brag, you do not have the right to shoot their dreams down and tell them to stop talking about it.

And all of you who don't want to say your talents... you don't have to... but I think you should. We deserve to acknowledge our strengths.

And if you think you don't have a talent, that isn't true. If you truly believe that you don't have one, search into your soul. Or maybe it just hasn't come out yet. It will eventually - Everyone is good at something and everyone has the possibility to do anything. It's only you that can hold you back.

I feel like that belonged in the Haven, but... yeah.

I think I'm an okay artist. I mean, I can draw, but I'm still in the Beginner's level of the Oekaki I'm in, so I definitely have room for improvement. But that's okay. I also like to write. I think that my writing is improving ever since I really got into song writing, so... yeah. I can sort of sing, but when the guy in Church Choir told me not to sing... that I was off pitch... it scared me to sing, which kind of messed up my voice.

I'm hoping to have a career in one of these things, and people have told me that I'm good at these things. This is why I put them up here instead of saying "I fail at life, but all of you are awesome, so achieve your dreams while I jump in a thornbush."

Yep, I have low self esteem. Go me.

Um. I think I was ranting a bit.

...

Have a nice day!

I'd say Writing, especially poetry.
Then Drawing/painting.
Music would be last, I wouldn't say that I had talent.

Writing, drawing (as long as it is not people), acting, mimickry. I have this knack of watching something on the tv, and replaying a scene to a friend, remembering all the dialogue and "being" the different characters. It is a talent that I believe one day will lead me to world domination. Not sure how, mind...Mimickry I guess extends to singing, too. My own voice is horrible, yet I can carry a tune if I copy a particular voice.

I am not amazing at the mimickry, but it is good enough that friends recognise the character.

Oooh, almost forgot one. Under the bracket writing, I will make special note of my songwriting. I am proud of my songs, especially the ones that have made girls cry (for the right reasons, people)
