That's really the problem with many mainstream British beers on the market - there really aren't too many choices if you want a properly bitter beer.

Congrats on the new camera, hyperlexian! I've never had a Pen, but the people I know who have them love them.

Yes, congratulations on the new camera. I looked at buying one of these myself but then I thought that a small SLR would probably suit me better.

So I haven't done anything about it since.

thank you! it takes great photos, exactly like i wanted!

it is technically an SLR, but not with a lot of bells and whistles. the lenses are removable and so on. it was discontinued so a very good price.

I'm sorry, but did I understand you correctly? They have phased out chalkboards in school?

It's a very nice picture. It belongs with my shutter picture!

thank you!

the chalkboards were all converted to whiteboards and SmartBoards.

i can really see i need a better camera though. i have been using a Fuji Finepix E500 point-and-shoot from 2004. my dad used to say that it's a poor workman who blames his tools, but seriously...

You must be speaking Greek-Canadian; what in the hell is a whiteboard and SmartBoard? I am guessing a whiteboard is a dry-erase marker board, but a SmartBoard...I'm just lost. Sounds electronic. I'm getting old :(.

P.S. Cool new camera. Get some pictures up!

a whiteboard is what we call a dry erase board in the schools here, cuz it's white.

a SmartBoard is a kind of dry erase board that also has a projector. you can draw on it but also click on it like a touchscreen and save the data you write. it's quite amazing but buggy.

i had to special order a macro lens for my camera so i won't have pix for a few days. i am very excited!

oh, i did take one quick snap but it's not well-composed or anything and the contrast is too high.

my friends from work bought me a cupcake and one of them hand-delivered it to my house. i was thankful for the gift, but she surprised me which was a little stressful. i hope i was able to express to her that i was happy.

I tried to eat it, now I have to clean my screen! I would have reacted the same way if that happened to me. If they had called ahead of time, I would have been fine.
