forecast for 93, got up to 99. Thunderstorms tonight, and more lightning strikes means more fires in surrounding desert hills. I have hope that today was summer's 'peak' and the length of time the day's high temperature will decline. yesterday we spent 6 2/3 hours over 90 degrees. It's all downhill from here, baybee! and the autumns around here are GORGEOUS, my fav. time of year.... just have to get past the heat. As the overnight lows become more tolerable, then the high of 90 isn't the same misery in September, as in August. It's all relative, and it's gonna get better from here on out, for a long lovely autumn --YIPEE!

Didn't warm up much; stayed overcast and didn't top 15 (59) - that's more October than anything.

Sounds very autumnal, CosmicRuss!

You don't want triple digits - I was in 99 a few weeks ago and that was bad enough!
