It was taken in our front garden. Here all is in bloom already - irises have started today.

my friends from work bought me a cupcake and one of them hand-delivered it to my house. i was thankful for the gift, but she surprised me which was a little stressful. i hope i was able to express to her that i was happy.
I tried to eat it, now I have to clean my screen! I would have reacted the same way if that happened to me. If they had called ahead of time, I would have been fine.

Back to Preston now for a few more shots.
This used to be Sharoe Green NHS hospital. It is now closed and used partially for private business but the NHS also still uses a sizezable amount of the building, now called Preston Business Centre:
After getting my shoes from the hospital I took a little walk down Watling Street Road (the Preston Business Centre is mid-way on this road):
The Fulwood Methodist Church is also based here and has a 'crossroads centre' on the road:
After that we drove home.
I spotted this hoarding advertising beer/cider at a special discount at the local supermarket though, which may be of interest:
