I put on airs for 30 years just to experience strong feelings of guilt. I should have been honest from the start. I would have prevented 30 years of stupidity on my part.

Hoping a pair of paternal uncles do not show up on Thanksgiving.

They enjoy being sexist and racist, but one of them now knows about my medical "problem."

A chore.
A job task.
A job that would have me submit a job order.
A personal wanting.
A personal something.
A something questionable week.
A task for tomorrow.
A task for 2 days from now.
A task for an event 3 weeks from now.
A project for said event 3 weeks from now.

Why is it that as you get older, you get tired earlier? I used to be able to stay up and watch Saturday Night Live when I was in my early 20s. Now I only make it through the first episode of Hogan's Heroes unless the second episode is better than the first one.

Watching my Grange Hill box sets again to try and cool down this obsession I have with Foster, as I did get obsessed with GH at one time. But the only difference is that my obsession with Foster is a sexual thing, while my obsession with GH was not.

I'm in the laundry room getting my laundry done. I'm wearing a British shirt that I wear when I get my washing done. I'm also wearing a London cap because an Alpine hat would look silly when worn with a Union Jack T shirt.

Worried about a friend.

I found the pillow with the gingerbread houses at just the right moment. Just as I lost faith in my clubhouse, I gained faith in a discount store.

I think that Alvin of The Chipmunks might be autistic. He's absent minded and doesn't respond right away. There's also the Christmas special where he can't be without his harmonica.

I used the phrase "I'm a fan." twice in the last post I typed up.
That is such an unusual phrase.

I'm a fan.

The brain between my ears, as opposed to the one in the jar (that one is for the Monster. :) ), ... between my ears immediately translates FAN to "an object that moves air."
Then I try to make sense out of that.
Is there a relationship between the fan that cools one off with the fan that always diverts its attention to someone or something that is cool. It's backwards from my point of view.

Note: I know, or knew, the etymology the FAN as in "I'm a fan." I looked it up once. It still does not stop my brain from opening that door.

Imagine I went on Heart Radio as like a caller, you know. They ask you to request a song, obviously it has to only be a song they play each day. I wouldn't be able to help myself. "Camptown Races!" I'd say. Or any other song written by Foster.

This is a witty comparison. I find witty comparisons very pleasing. I enjoy your descriptions very much, CockneyRebel.

I hope your friend is okay, exec.

I prefer your etymology of 'fan', pcgoblin. Nothing beats a good bit of folk etymology
