AHA! (see my book sales post) So you didn’t try out my routine, then? Sigh...

I'm wonder if this topic is too broad? It could easily fit into other areas. I think maybe every forum group needs a What's On Your Mind Right Now? thread (???). Although the title is pretty random.
What is on my mind? I came here because I just watch F1 qualifying, and I logged into WoW with my first, so oldest, character.
WoW, the area of the Tirisfal Glades has been destroyed by war. The undead hub, Undercity, has been destroyed. That was a jaw dropper. (When I typed that, it did not occur to me that "jaw dropper" would be undead Punny. But now... Ha!)
F1, the three title contenders qualified in the first three positions. I won't say more. spoilers.

How can it be too broad? If it's not on your mind, it might as well not exist!

I got rid of that Crystal Light iced tea powder that I was mixing into my Mio. That stuff has 15 milligrams of caffeine a packet. I'd drink three of those a day. That's 45 milograms of caffeine a day. From now on I'm going to drink tea, Mio and water.

I remember when I was about 9 I thought up a stupid, simple poem thing to explain a thunder and lightning scene, that went "bang, bang, crash, crash, rumble, rumble, flash, flash". Then after playtime I asked the teacher if I could say it out loud to the class - God knows why, because ordinarily I was too timid to stand in front of the whole class and speak, but I seemed to have to do this. The class went dead silent while I read out the words, and I could almost hear the other kids thinking "what is the purpose of this?" The teacher stood next to me and praised me for my simple little...whatever it was, and he told the class how it described a thunderstorm.
We weren't studying thunderstorms in class or anything. Just remembering that moment still makes me cringe.

I can't seem to cry any more. An elderly relative recently died, and while I feel sad, the tears won't come. I used to cry all the time. Now I haven't cried for months, even though I've had no change in antidepressants or anything. Maybe it's to do with taking the contraceptive pill continuously?

I remember the first 30+ years of my life I cried a lot. But lately I just can't.

The pots and pans thing made me look at it in a more comical way.

^ big thumbs up, CockneyRebel

I was just going through the photo in one of the threads. They were so excellent. I mean it. I love pictures and art.
I was thinking about posting some pictures, but I have this pit in my stomach, like I'm crashing a party.
That is not meant to trigger anyone to say "Sure, go ahead and post pictures." I'm going to sort through them and place them in groups tomorrow. So if I go to the thread to post pictures, and it has moved, I will have a good laugh.

Quote:
What? He said he was coming to the party? Who told him about the party in the first place? Well, we're going have to sell the house and move.

I would not be hurt by that. I would find it funny.

Well its not as bad as when I insisted on wearing a costume dress to school, my mom told me it was a bad idea but I was insisting so she let me to go to school in it. And f*ck I can still hear the laughter about it and I had brought a sash with me and tried to like put that over my head to make it better, and that only made my classmates and teacher laugh harder. I mean looking back as an observor I may have laughed too but as a little girl it really hurt my feelings.

^ That's why school uniform should be mandatory in America. I think a lot of American autistic children have gone to school looking "ridiculous" and getting bullied for it.

I remember on non-uniform days in high school I came in dressed as a boy. I mean I know there was nothing wrong with being a tomboy but my dress sense was untrendy as well for a girl who was a tomboy. I was happy wearing my brother's hand-me-downs.
