One time I had a friend who gave me a pack of tissues before we went out, and she said, "keep these in your bag, in case we cry." She meant it seriously. I guess she was the sort that liked to come prepared, but even that's a bit too random.

It took me until about 12 months ago to understand that tissues are a better idea than bog roll for runny noses and stuff

I didn't used to be able to blow my nose when I was a child because it really hurt so I would fill up the bathroom sink with cold water and stick my head in it
I think it must have eased the sinus pain but I wouldn't have understood that at that age

Making sure I don't think so much about my first surgery which is set for January 8th, 2026.

I really need a nightshift job.
Or a job that won't have me get up at 7-8 AM and start at afternoon instead.

It's been a constant for most of my life already.
School, work... Everything.

I'm already past the certain age already.
So why bother getting stuck?

I don't get why I felt way more Christmassy last year than I do this year, even though last year I almost had a nervous breakdown because it was the peak of all that bullying that was going on at work.
I keep forgetting Christmas is in a couple of weeks. Maybe it's the unseasonable warm weather. Or maybe because I haven't heard enough Christmas music this year.
