Why is it that the UK never makes it to the World Juniors?

I wonder if Bruce Springsteen recorded the song, Born in The USA to prove a point that he's American because his last name is German.

It feels like it should be later than it is. Feels like it should be around 10 o'clock, but it is actually - refer to What time is it now, where you are?

I guess I'm not so much her emotional punching bag as her anxiety fidget spinner.

Someone who expects you to trust them, or who makes their feelings about it your problem, is probably not trustworthy. It's nice to give the benefit of the doubt at times, but if it doesn't feel right it is probably best to reserve judgement till head and instincts are in agreement.

It is always okay to take your time making up your mind.

My brain woke me up at 2 fecking a.m. to tell me this.

And what is it?

"Trust is earnt, not owed."

I knoowww  stupid wee brain.

Favorite vs Favourite

My Linux computer's browser spellcheck prefers one.
My Windows computer's browser spellcheck prefers the other.
I bet it is an easy fix, but I don't think it needs fixing. I'm fine having an accent on one computer. By the way, and this is true, I cannot hear a British accents any more. I'm certain because I've watched so much British programming (TV, movies). So maybe it's just BBC English?
I still hear Welsh, Scottish and Irish accents and they are beautiful to hear.

Extending that thought, one of my biggest regrets is that I have problems translating Indian accents, which are rooted in British English. I use be so embarrassed and apologise when talking to tech support from India. I knew it was my problem, not theirs. Where I get BIG HEADED about that is my co-workers blamed workers for India. I did not, do not, envy their jobs as help desk personnel. But I felt bad I had to keep asking them to repeat themselves. It's also interesting how worker from India handled my inability to process language. Just like everything else with everyone else everywhere, some were offended, some were understanding.

Color vs Colour

At least it's not Celsius vs Fahrenheit. That's another language, and it is one I think I can handle, and I'm getting better.

I'm resistant to dropping the "u"

It's like a patriotic thing I think. I'd feel like a complete "sell out"
