I wouldn't want a cup of tea if I ordered a cup of coffee

No way José!

They're two very different hot beverages

Depends whether they want to harm/kill you.

Why is it that if you cry you're seen as less intelligent, but if you bottle up your emotions, you're seen as more intelligent?

I think I associate intelligence with depth of feeling. That might be an old-fashioned view these days.

Anyone who thinks you are less intelligent because you feel things strongly is an eejit, CockneyRebel.

Not really.

It's what hate might motivate others to do that matters.

But, if you like attention haters will provide it.

How come we had to wear a PE kit when doing exercise at school but we didn't have to have a PE kit to play outside at recess, even though a lot of us still ran about and climbed and stuff?

Because getting gross during gym class is pretty much mandatory, but getting gross during recess is voluntary. :P

If you point out to someone how easy it would be for them to help you, you could compel them to help you. Particularly if there's a third party to judge them. But I don't want coerced help. So I won't do it. So I'll probably starve.

They should invent jars that turn inside out because, under the current system there's a lot of chocolate spread that goes to waste
