I agree, from the customer's perspective a less wasteful jar would be great.

I'm just saying 'they' have zero incentive to make a better jar, instead 'their' incentive is to make a worse jar.

When 'they' do something that seems stupid or counter intuitive, it's good to look at where 'their' interests lie. :nerdy:
