Interesting dream. Will hafta ponder it for a while.

God as...the Godfather (played by Marlon Brando?)! And Jesus as one of his enforcers, or goodfellas (Joe Pesci?).

But Jesus has to go through some heavy hazing, not for our sins, but to just make into the Mob.

There is a line in the New Testament about how everything, including evil, and suffering, is God's creation. That seems to be part of the message of the dream.

Yeah that's kinda it, though he was already in the mob, though not I guess, it's highest rank.

in this hellworld it is certainly easy enough to conclude that god is a mobster-sorta guy.

In the dream he was definitely very jealous of any obedience other than toward him. And that hammer mentioned got used a lot. I didn't sense though malice, or a desire for cruelty, it was just there.

in a hostile world it is very hard to detect good, as good pads about quietly on cat feet while bad roars and stomps about like a bear.

Only remember the end of my dream this morning, but it featured me trying to organise a nativity scene, and Donald Trump showed up to be one of the wise men, the one bringing the gold of course. :x

I dreamt I walked into a room I visited in an earlier dream, it was all white but stuffed with old keyboard instruments, types of piano and home organ, and the walls had cobwebby art objects, large ones, made of wood carvings, lashed up. I accidentally dislodged one of them and it fell on me and I was holding it up so it wouldn't fall on my sister, and I saw a HUUUGE housefly the size of a musket ball, with a gooey black body and bumblebee-like wings, buzzing a deep ominous buzz a few octaves in pitch below that of a regular buzzing insect, it alit on the wooden thing I was holding up, then it started flying around, and just as I was dreading it alighting on me, it hit me in the forehead which felt like an icky fuzzy buzzy marble had just smacked me, then flew away, and I awoke straightaway.

How very odd! :alien: What do you suppose it means? I'm glad you saved your sister and I hope that big ol' fly never bothers you again.

Oh, and have you read the message I sent you this morning?

^^^Austin, dreammoods says that-
Falling suggests loss of control:
When you fall, you have no control and have nothing to hold on to. Thus your falling dream is analogous to a situation in your waking life where you are lacking or losing control. You are feeling overwhelmed, perhaps in school, in your work environment, in your home life or maybe in your personal relationship. You have lost your foothold and unable to keep up with the demands of your daily life.
Falling suggests insecurity:
Falling in your dream means you are lacking any sense of security, stability and confidence. You are not sure where you stand in a particular circumstance or in your relationship. Perhaps you are at risk of losing your job or losing your home. Such loss can make you feel that the ground is falling away underneath you. Moreover falling dreams also indicate feelings of shame, inferiority, vulnerability, and/or low self-esteem. You are afraid of not measuring up to others' expectations or to keep up with the status quo. If you have recently have demands placed on you, then it would not be surprising if you dreamt of falling.
Falling suggests reckless behavior:
Your falling dream may be a wake-up call of your reckless behavior or poor decisions. You are headed the wrong way in life. And if you continue on the current path, you are going to hit rock bottom. Falling in your dream could be viewed as an analogy of your fall from grace.
Falling is a result of physiology:
The physiological changes within the body when you "fall asleep" may actually trigger a falling dream. When you dream of falling, you may feel your whole body jerk or twitch. This sudden jolt is known as a myoclonic jerk and is sometimes strong enough to wake you up.
Conclusion:
In order to understand and interpret your falling dream, look at what is happening in your waking life that could bring about the dream. Where in your life do you feel a lost of control? What is causing your insecurities?

Whoa. Well I have been feeling like I am not in control of my life as I used to be, and all these changes in my personal life have really been hitting me hard and there's times I feel really insecure about myself. :(
