Who wants to bet that after the Olympics come to a close, that I will be staying up until 11 and watching Hogan's Heroes again. I've been going to bed between 7 and 8 the past 14 nights.

I wonder if, with the right fuel**, 550 hp out of an all-motor 2000 cc engine a) is possible and b) can survive running at full chat for >2 hours.

** Likely a nitromethane and alcohol mix.

Why does it take 3 hours to complete a Olympic closing ceremony?

I think the thing that would help me now would be for me to use an avatar of my favourite Olympian of all time, Summer or Winter.

I am a bit worried about this whole palava with the website hosting because my old account is full of precious memories and I don't want them lost to time. Maybe I should screenshot literally everything.

The whole site will appear just as it is now, possibly missing a few recent posts made after the backup was taken.

This is an asphalt super late-model. I'd like to see these cars, with a perimeter rail (symmetrical) chassis (as opposed to an offset chassis) racing on road courses.

It annoys me when the local gazette doesn't say anything about an incident that you saw and you want to know what happened and how it happened. Like the other day I was in my husband's car in my local city and we drove past a car upturned violently in the middle of the road, surrounded by police and lots of onlookers. It's something you don't see every day and seems pretty news-worthy, yet it mentions nothing about it in the local gazette or anywhere else on the internet when I type in about upturned cars on the exact date into the search engine. Even now - a few days later - nothing. If that ain't newsworthy then I don't know what is. How on earth did a car manage to upturn like that in the middle of a rather busy road in broad daylight without crashing into anything else? It must have been going at like 100mph to be able to turn over as violently like that, as it was flattened at the front. I don't know if the people in the car survived or not. I didn't see an ambulance.

My outreach worker is coming at 2. I have 3 and a half hours with myself. I'll be stuck with my thoughts and emotions for 3 and a half hours.
