Sounds like a lovely vortex to me...
I find their talks on YouTube oddly soothing, although the whole channelling thing a bit weird.

It's a yucky day for me, so I just added a bunch of short stories to my NaNo book, and called it a day in the writing department.

Very apt as I have The Hobbit on the TV - The desolation of Smaug.

Smaug is a rather naughty dragon though.

My mum and step-father were talking about me, about my "obsessions" [I prefer the term special interests :x ], and about my future, and I felt guilty and upset. :(

I'd feel the same way if I heard my parents talking about my special interests that way.

The very thing that made me decide to move out at the age of 32 was the fact that my mum felt the need to quiet me about my special interests because my dad was in the next room. I never really felt loved by him.
