I hope my acceptance of different beliefs helps you realize this is one not an effective method of preaching and two is not really biblical to be honest. The bible talks about faith, works and judging the heart. It doesn't mean you need works to be saved, it doesn't mean to have faith while sinning but with the third part means just doing the best you can from my point of view.

I have many different beliefs.
Love is the most prominent one.

what does anyone really know?

We know we care about you.
But know one can really know another's heart.
Throw it in the vortex and see what comes out.

I think certain people can be great for us even if no one else, including themselves, thinks so. I know someone whom basically everyone here & IRL told me to ignore; that's a dumb idea & here's why: There is no point in letting others determine who is important to you. Do some nice things for such a person & see what happens.

Well there you go,

One thing that is an absolute truth for me anyway, is the concept of predestiny. If God knows the past and knows the future and time is not linear then predestiny is the logical conclusion. Which plays into my theory of just doing the best you can cause its kinda all already happened. We have choices but God already knows them so to avoid over excessing over it, I just do the best version of me I can be at the time 8)

Which can be pretty poor at times

And then there is faith :P

If God knows the future then what is the point of anything he's done?
It seems a whole lot of why would you bother.
And if God already knew how people would perform under test and this one would make it and this one wouldn't, it's a whole lot of boring too.

When you play a game, knowing the outcome takes all the fun out of it.
We wouldn't bother if we knew we were always going to win.

Boring for God, people don't know how other people would perform under test so its interesting to mankind at least right??

I see your point though and respect it.

But we don't know we are going to win, that is where doubt and fear comes in and faith overcomes and makes us humble for it.

People also often just look at gains and losses when giving that kind of advice since they aren't emotionally invested. But even if the person is "bad for us", sometimes taking some losses can be worth it to be with a person.

You will find doubt and faith are not far from each other,
I doubt we can win,
But I have faith we can win,

I live in an LCD vortex. I think I need to learn how to steer it.
