Jim Morrison sang this song to my third grade class in the LA area in 1968 with his guitar and Pamela sitting in a chair next to him. I thought it was inappropriate to sing such a song to children and was uncomfortable at that time with the lyrics. Cool that I got to see him in person though and like the song today.
