i called the library and renewed my overdue book. no fines yet. i called centrelink and asked for an extention on the claim i haven't put in. i checked identity manager and changed my password so i'm no longer locked out of my email or student sites. basically i did things i haven't had a chance to do for a while.

i found a poorly baby-bird at the top of the garden almost frozen to death, but i saved it, and now it's chirping away in a little box in my kitchen. when i'm sure it's okay, i'll let it go.

I went to the laundromat for the first time since moving into my new place. It's on the same block as my house instead of blocks away like at my old place. I've been here almost 2 months so the laundry has been piling up. I also used the dryer in my house for the first time today. I finally got someone to show me how.

My rabbit made me happy today. There is something about that playful innocence that always cheers me up.
