I like how everyone seems to instinctively understand the meaning of the term, "short-term special interest," even though there are few references in the context used.

I have and have had quite a few of those.

protest for tj hicky(an aboriginal kid who was murdered by the pigs and they never got charged.), lots of free sweets at youthgroup, unsw SA club caucus and branch meeting. i also realised that the guy i thought i recognised from youthgroup who i have seen at rallies for different causes and then dismissed it as me thinking all people look the same actually turned out to be the same guy so next time i see him i want to talk to him and see if he's into stuff. i hope he is left wing. i'm so excited.

I'm posting something that did not necessarily make me happy, but inspired me profusely.

My Name is Khan was a masterfully well done movie that starred an Indian man with Aspergers post 9-11.

Has anyone seen it? What were your thoughts about it?

Chocolate. 'Twas a shame it was regular milk chocolate, though.

Agreed: dark chocolate is the only chocolate for me. I love the Dove dark chocolates especially.

Now if I could get my hands on baker's chocolate, that would be even more potent.

I once tried bakers chocolate, bitter beyond belief.

Of course, the theobromine concentration is also much higher than regular chocolate, which should help reduce allergy-related coughs and apparent mental energy. None of this would be complete without a nice helping of starches the night before and a meal of peptides the morning of the exam.
