So this wasn't her first time sleepwalking? Has she seen a doctor for it?

Nope , it's not allowed to be mentioned.

Why is that, will some apocalyptic tragedy befall you?(The Omen theme plays)

Not apocalyptic but it might get messy , have you ever done something when a woman explicitly told you not too , it never goes well. 8O ( Theme from Carrie plays )

My GF is not a fan of the medical community.

Ah, well on that account I can fully understand that scenario quite well..

If it was something really serious or life threatening then that would change things and I'd take the flak for disobeying.

Well that was a good sleep - not :x

My GF was restless and starting sleepwalking , she went downstairs , had a piss then proceeded to make a cup of tea in the dark , they say you are not supposed to wake sleepwalkers but f**k that , the confusion and embarrassment on her face when I wake her up by saying something stupid makes my day  I'm sick

Glad I don't live with you.
I've swept the floor and loaded laundry while asleep, but the best one was waking up in my housemate's bed.

yeah, you know I would have to mess with your head if I woke up next to you

Is there a pattern to your sleepwalking ?

Only my head?

I would agree with what they say about it being stress related.
if I know I have to get abcdefghijk done tomorrow and I'm stressing about fitting it all in it's like the brain says let's start early, so you get up and go through the whole morning routine without the waking part, is that what your gf does?
I was on Stillnox for a while and people were even driving while asleep on that, so who knows what I've gotten up to. 8O

^ When she was a child she used to go moonlight dancing in the garden  She doesn't appear to go through a routine although her morning does start with a cup of tea. ( She is under a huge amount of stress at the moment )

What's puzzling is the fact that she does it all in the dark , I wonder what she's actually seeing , is her view daytime ? Is she just seeing a memory in her mind? As long as nothings changed it's pretty easy to make a cup of tea from memory ( although pouring hot water seems dangerous ) , I wonder what happen if I hid the kettle ? She just told me that she can be easily coerced when asleep ( a past experience from an ex 8O ).

It's totally subconscious, like when you're driving somewhere and you start thinking of stuff and before you know it you're there and you can't remember how you got there, ever done that?
You're on autopilot and your subconscious sees everything.
If there was some hazard during that time you would react automatically.
They say your subconscious mind is actually much more efficient and aware than your conscious mind.

I thought that not remembering driving somewhere was a sign of alien abduction :alien:
Aw! I haven't been abducted. :(

Thanks for your insight.

If your subconscious mind is more efficient does that explain gut feelings about things , it's not your gut , it's your efficient subconscious mind trying to attract your attention

I think that is known at autonomic hypnosis? I've experience that at various times during my driving excursions, especially when driving long distances........... How are you Raleigh, I hope I've not bothered you as of late?

I'm awake when I should be asleep.

They were supposed to bring a new bed yesterday but they didn't, no explanation and of course I didn't contact them because anxiety.
The control stopped working and I can't adjust it how I like it so that's sleep out of the picture.
Cuppa tea anyone?

Fractals are so bizarre.

Quotation: "A fractal is a never-ending pattern. Fractals are infinitely complex patterns that are self-similar across different scales. They are created by repeating a simple process over and over in an ongoing feedback loop. Driven by recursion, fractals are images of dynamic systems – the pictures of Chaos."

8O

They go on forever! How?!

How is anything forever? What the heck is forever in terms of time or space? I used to picture there had to be a brick wall at the end of the universe. I also wondered how or when time started, because what was before that? Infinity freaks me out.

There's a restaurant at the end of the universe, not a brick wall. :P
